Superheroes, cartoon characters, army girls and nuns hit the town for the celebrations, with thousands of people joining in the spirit of the night. The party atmosphere brought out various themes, with some comic, sexy and scary outfits on parade.And as the clock tolled midnight it seemed like the biggest crowd for years gathered around the Clock Tower to welcome in 2009.
